His master replied, “Well done, good and faithful servant!  You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.  Come and share in your Master’s happiness!”

With all the things we encounter in this life, the pleasant and the harsh, this is to be our goal…to serve in faithfulness.  And our reward is God’s blessing and promise of sharing in His happiness eternally.

What areas test your faithfulness?  Take them to the Lord and ask for His divine help in your struggles today.

Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.  Why do the nations say, “Where is their God?”  Our God is in heaven; He does whatever pleases Him. (vs. 1-3)

You who fear Him, trust in the Lord–He is their help and shield. (vs 11)

We praise You, God our Father,  for being our help and our shield!

In times of personal distress it is natural for us to call out to God.  Even those who don’t claim a relationship with God find themselves doing so as trauma or stress hits full force.  It is important to know that our cries don’t evaporate into thin air.  They are heard.  They come before a loving God who is willing to help us through our trials and wants us to lean on His strength.

We praise you God for hearing our cries for help!
