O Lord, you have searched me and you know me.  You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. (Psalms 139:1-2)

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for the attention you lavish on me.  It is amazing that you know me so completely and still love me so deeply. I love you.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Are you in Christ?  Think of some ways you can demonstrate to God today how thankful you are He made you a new creation through Christ.

Still figuring this Christianity thing out?  Allow your heart to listen to God through His Word, the Bible.  He longs to be in relationship with you and wants to make you a new creation.

Philippians 4:6,7:

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. (vs 7)

Want that kind of peace?  Look now at the prior verse:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, with prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  (vs 6)

God’s peace that passes all our understanding is available to us as we bring our concerns before the Lord in prayer!

Friendship is powerful…and friendship with God?  Incredible!  Meditate on the gift God has given us by offering friendship to us.

Is any one of you in trouble?  He should pray.  Is anyone happy?  Let him sing songs of praise.  Is any one of you sick?  He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.

God cares deeply about the details of our lives.  He knows when we are suffering and He hears when we call on His Name.  Step forward in your day with the comfort that God hears our prayers.
